Criolin is a small family‑run farm where vineyard care is rooted in a deep connection with the land. Claudio and Giovanna transform every cluster into a wine that expresses dedication, territory, and living tradition.
BARBERA D’ASTI
Criolin’s Barbera d’Asti DOCG comes from Guyot‑trained vineyards planted on calcareous and marl soils with occasional clay layers, which give the wine structure and depth. The vines, planted at a density of 5,000 vines per hectare, produce low yields (75–100 q/ha) and grapes harvested in early October, at full aromatic ripeness. Vinification follows traditional methods, with frequent pump‑overs to extract color, aromas, and body. After fermentation, the wine ages for 6 months in the bottle, achieving balance and definition. The result is a Barbera with an intense ruby‑red color and garnet highlights; the nose offers vinous notes with hints of black cherry and plum. On the palate it is full, robust, and harmonious, supported by the characteristic freshness of the variety.
Alcohol: 13.5% vol
Serving temperature: 18–20 °C
Bottle 0,75 Lt.
MOSCATO D’ASTI
Criolin’s Moscato d’Asti DOCG is made from 100% Moscato grapes grown on calcareous and marl soils with clay layers, which enhance aromatic finesse and natural freshness. The Guyot‑trained vines, planted at 5,000 vines per hectare, deliver balanced yields (90–100 q/ha) and an early harvest in early September to preserve fragrance and fruit integrity. The must is stored in a pressurized tank at 0 °C and fermented slowly at controlled temperatures (16–18 °C), preserving primary aromas and creating the natural effervescence typical of Moscato d’Asti.
The wine shows a pale straw‑yellow color, with an intense and persistent aroma of fresh fruit. On the palate it is sweet and delicate, balanced by a pleasant acidic vein that keeps the finish lively.
Alcohol: 5.5% vol
Serving temperature: 8–10 °C
Bottle 0,75 Lt.
RUCHE’
Criolin’s Ruchè is made from 100% Ruchè grapes grown on calcareous and marl soils with clay components, contributing to the wine’s aromatic complexity and structure. The Guyot‑trained vines, planted at 5,000 vines per hectare, produce low yields (75–100 q/ha) and are harvested in early October, when the variety reaches its aromatic peak. Vinification is traditional in red, with maturation in stainless‑steel tanks followed by bottle aging to preserve purity and typicity. The wine displays a bright red color with violet hues in its youth, evolving toward garnet with age. The nose is intense, persistent, and aromatic, offering notes of rose and violet in the early years, gradually developing into delicate spices. On the palate it is warm, harmonious, and well‑structured, with a gentle tannic texture that supports balance and length.
Alcohol: 13–15% vol (depending on the vintage)
Serving temperature: 18–20 °C
Bottle 0,75 Lt.
